Who we are

TechStaq Suriname ("TechStaq", "we", "us") is an engineering and talent hub based in Paramaribo, Suriname. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@techstaq.tech. For recruitment matters, contact recruitment@techstaq.tech.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you email us (for a project enquiry, a job application or the training academy) we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include such as a CV, portfolio links or message.
• Usage data. When you visit this website we collect limited technical and usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, and interactions) to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Analytics & cookies

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay. Clarity may set cookies and capture usage data; Microsoft processes this data on our behalf. We do not use it to identify you personally. For more, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you.
• To assess and manage job and academy applications.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our site and recruitment process (such as Microsoft Clarity and our email providers), and where required by law. Recruitment correspondence sent to recruitment@techstaq.tech is handled under the techstaq.tech group.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Application data is retained for the duration of the hiring process and a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@techstaq.tech and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
